What do you do you when Social
Media ruins your life?
*When a fake profile pops up claiming Tracey-Ann is an escort—ruining all job prospects—she decides to lean in. And create an escort agency with just one rule.
*Her bestie and roommate, Jo, comes along for the ride. Only problem? Jo’s an aspiring drug mogul who lacks any discretion whatsoever.
Between Tracey’s non-existent personal boundaries and Jo’s obsession with chronicling everything on social media…
What could go wrong?
Welcome to Atlanta. Where everybody’s hustle has a side-hustle. The vibe is diverse, forward-thinking and surprisingly racist.
What’s it like?
The ride-or-die friendship of BROAD CITY
CLUELESS’s delusional naivety
INSECURE’s unironic commentary on the Millennial condition
Splash of surrealist dark comedy a la ATLANTA
What’s A “SCORT?”
SCORTS: a new wave of media.
Filmed using the app, Marco Polo, the actors look directly at the camera. True to its theme of intimate connection, you’re thrust into the midst of their trials and triumphs. We live our lives on screens. It’s time the entertainment industry embraces this with authenticity. SCORTS leads the way in the development of this new frontier.
Praise:
“In SCORTS Tracey-Ann Rose has created a humorous new look on relationships and humanity. It’s a well crafted comedy that keeps you curious, engaged, and touched in alllll the right places.” – Desa Larkin-Boutte, HBO’s WestWorld Showrunner Assistant
“Comedy show with a bright future.” – Flare Designers
“It’s fun and timely, rich with subplot possibilities and the premise is unique and edgy…”
“Funny, refreshing, self-aware… [An] original and timely comedy”
“…Feel[s] fresh and original and the intentions behind the characters are what allows a lot of possibilities for the different episodes this series could produce. The way the [half-hour pilot] script ends with a nemesis…is a great way to keep up an antagonist whose conflict with the main characters can definitely generate a tone of conflict that should provide for a lot of great storytelling.” WeScreenplay Feedback
Professionally, Tracey-Ann Rose is a writer, actor, and Visibility Coach. More importantly, she’s also a wife and mother of two (three if you count her Shih Tzu). Her purpose? To change the face of media.
As a writer, she highlights the unique voices of under- or misrepresented groups, allowing us to see them as human beings instead of caricatures.
Her 7+ years of on-camera training influences her work as a Visibility Coach. She uses her relaxed approach and knowledge to empower her clients to embrace the wholeness of their being, especially on camera.
Tracey-Ann knows that when people show up authentically, they build a bridge of connection. And that is true power.

THE LEADS
Tracey-Ann Rhodes.
Meet Tracey-Ann “TA” Rhodes. She’s based on the author’s college years a.k.a. Her Life As A Hard-Partying Over-Achiever. She’s smart, emotionally intelligent, and painfully naive. “Guys, President Trump just needs a good hug.” Not to mention she’s a hopeless romantic (read: raised by Disney). But when men flirt with her, she’s surprisingly unaware. And her candid nature and openness only further confuse the issue, often leading to stalkers. But hey, to her a stalker is just a guardian angel you didn’t ask for.
Jo Wyatt
This is Jo Wyatt, TA’s street smart bestie. While Tracey sees your potential, Jo sees who you are. And she’s not impressed. She suffers no fools and is quick to put someone in their place. While open to sexual experiences with whomever, whenever, she’s “not here to make friends.” Think of her as a Misanthropic Social Media Maven. She WILL take a selfie at your grandpa’s funeral, but she WON’T say hi while she’s there. Jo may appear frivolous, but she worked 3 day jobs in college. Now her main hustle is trying to become the Kylie Jenner of weed. And she’s not shy about her grind either. Jo is a bold social chameleon. A fur coat and overalls? That’s called a Tuesday.
Meet Chris
Meet Chris, Tracey’s first client. He’s charming, he’s sensitive, and he’s affiliated with Atlanta’s greatest crime kingpin. His and Tracey’s connection is undeniable, but falling for him could jeopardize more than her business. It could jeopardize her life.
Meet Harold
This is Harold. He’s either a complete idiot or an absolute genius. Yes, he procures weed for Jo to sell. But he’s CEO of Save His Ass Inc. first. A drug dealer second. Can Jo whole-heartedly trust this mercurial opportunist?
More than Meets the Eye…
Just like it’s namesake, with Scorts, there’s more than meets the eye. Each episode stands alone, but watch closely. There are bigger players driving the action behind the scenes.
